You can unleash your inner artist or designer by becoming part of VCUarts Qatar, a branch campus of Virginia Commonwealth University School of the Arts in Richmond, Virginia. VCUarts Qatar, the first university to be founded at Qatar Foundation, has established itself as a center of excellence for education and research in art and design over the past 20 years, and has substantial involvement with the emerging design industries in Qatar.

Students learn that fashion design is far more than the crafting of beautiful clothing, and learn how to develop a fashion collection, from concept to the finished product.
This program empowers students in design practice and research, and prepares them for today’s information-rich society. Students take courses such as typography, photography, video, interactive design, bookbinding, and screen printing; along with the diverse curricula, students have access to excellent studio facilities.
Students learn how to create functional and appealing spaces where people can live, work, and play, while learning how art, architecture, design, and technology inform interior design, and how to collaborate across disciplines.
This program enables students to adopt a specialized focus within the discipline from a wide range of studio offerings that include painting, drawing, color theory, screen-printing, etching, lithography, book-binding, digital print media, and new media.
This program, the only one of its kind in the Gulf region, offers a distinctive concentration in Islamic art with a global perspective and is designed to focus on the interchange between the Islamic World, the Western World, and the non-Islamic cultures of Asia.
The purpose of the graduate program is to produce designers who are experts at negotiating and utilizing elements of many different fields to construct new tailored experiences. It combines graphics, interaction, engineering, systems, architecture, fashion, and product design into a merged experience.
